Hosta Youre So Vein Dry Shade Plants planted in 1994Hosta 'You're So Vein' is a fascinating 2016 Plant Delights JLBG introduction from a cross we made in 2003 between a Hosta longipes hybrid and Hosta 'Blue Mouse Ears'. Hosta 'You're So Vein' forms a vigorous but slowly offsetting 6" tall x 15" wide clump of dark green, cardboard like, 3. 5" wide leaves. The leaves emerge with unique grey green vein highlights a trait we've never seen this dramatic on a hosta. The dwarf clumps are topped in early July
