Asarum ichangense Miscarum dumortieriAsarum ichangense is a virtually uncultivated Chinese wild ginger that hails from stream side forests and grasslands up to 4,500' elevation in the Chinese provinces of Anhui, Fujian, Guangdong, Guangxi, Hubei, Hunan, Jiangxi, and Zhejiang. In the garden, Asarum ichangense makes a lovely semi evergreen, slowly spreading patch.
