Domaine Duroche Gevrey-Chambertin Champ 2023 [NET] MH Valentini oil from Loretana OlivesPierre Duroch has quietly become one of the most coveted names in Gevrey Chambertin, and Champ is a perfect introduction to his classical style. The cuve comes from two parcels at the northern edge of the village, planted in 1969 and 1973 on crinoidal limestone and sandy marl. Of his lieux dits, this is the high toned, mineral one. The 2023 dials up the fruit intensity compared to a normal village bottling: finely drawn raspberry and wild strawberry,
