We previous sold this as Carex retroflexa, which was a mis identification. Carex howei can be found naturally in boggy meadows and swamp forest stream banks. Our particular form is one we collected in 2004 from northern Louisiana's Bienville Parish, where the infamous Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow were gunned
