2020 Bloomer Creek Skin-Contact Riesling Barrow Vineyard, Finger Lakes, New York Lambert de Seyssel a Chilean raw milk cheesemakerThe Riesling vines were first planted at Barrow Vineyard in 2013, when the Bloomers purchased the hillside site on the east side of Seneca Lake. The grapes were hand harvested, crushed, and fermented on skins for approximately 21 days. The skins were pressed off and the wine sat on lees for one year in stainless steel before bottling, unfined unfiltered.
