The liquid helps salt stick to surfaces and can melt ice at lower temperatures than salt alone. Its 12V DC powered electric diaphragm pump is rated at 3 GPM 45 PSI. It features a variable speed system that allows you to adjust the amount of liquid sprayed on salt as you drive, via your in cab controller.
