The pants have a flat waistband (with inside "grippers" to keep the pants from sliding down!) and wider, barrel shaped legs that taper a bit to just above the ankle. The fit is slim through the hips, but quite easy through the legs. The flap details on the thighs are decorative, not actual pockets!
