2024 Weingut Wasenhaus Filzen Chardonnay 1.5L Magnum Baden, Germany Domaine Trimbach hard grey/blue slateA Chardonnay from steep slopes, western orientated, worked mainly manual and grown on limestone clay soil in Kirchhofen. Bunches got pressed as whole clusters, fermented in 1 600L damy barrel. Aged for one year on the full lees in barrel and another half year in stainless steel on its entire lees. This is a younger german clone with a bit more aromatics thus is a fresher style compared to Hohlen. vom Boden
