Livio Sassetti Pertimali Brunello di Montalcino 2020 SF Chronicle Enjoy well chilled as aLivio Sassetti was among the founders of Brunello's consortium in 1967; Pertimali is his obsessionvineyards in the northern Montosoli zone, full Sangiovese fruit aged to glossy perfection. Black plum, blackberry, dark chocolate, and sage, with undertones of vanilla building to a harmonious finish. The 2020 vintage concentrated what ripened. Best from 2028 onward.
