Resin White Metal Kapala bowl Written in the eighth centuryExquisite resin kapala. The outer edge is decorated with happy skulls and the inner bowl is coated in a white metal which is smooth to the touch. The kapala (skull cup) symbolizes wisdom and is used as an offering vessel in Vajrayana practice. Because the skulls are glued on, it is best not to submerge the whole Kapala in water, or to let liquid run down the sides of it. Please note: stand is not included.
