Chteau Marquis d'Alesme is one of Margaux's fourteen Third Growths in the historic 1855 classification, established in 1585 and revitalized since the Perrodo family acquired it in 2006. Its 15 hectares sit on prime silico gravel terroir one plot adjoining Chteau Margaux itself planted to ~65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot, 5% Petit Verdot.
