Domaine Rolet Pere & Fils Arbois Savagnin Ouille, Jura, France 2021 Livio Felluga Medium-bodied with notes of blackcurrantThis Cuvee is vinified partly in oak barrels (topped up so not oxidised) and partly in vats. Lack of oxidation allows the full, aromatic fruit forwardness of Savagnin to push through, showing gorgeous flavors of white fruit, flowers, and earth spice . It has a powerful aromatic bouquet with notes of vanilla and spice due to the wood. This encompasses a typical vivacious minerality.
