The 2' tall, heavily striped cream and white, evergreen leaves are wildly variable in width, from 1" wide to 3" wide. Aspidistra elatior 'Ippin' is a superb house plant in regions where it isn't winter hardy. In early winter, the burgundy purple crown shaped flowers appear at the base of the
