It is one of the largest contiguous vineyard sites hillsides along the Mosel, as such there is a local colloquial saying "so lang wie Clsserath" or "as long as Klsserath". You'll note the two spellings which are used interchangeably, but Ludes and most more modern usage is with the "K". The hillside is a bit warmer than Thrnich, as it does not have the
