Always learning
I found this pair of real photo postcards in New Hampshire this week and thought--think--they're really cool--including as reminders of how quickly technological innovation transforms society

Woman with Fan and Bustle, 1886 Signed Ink Drawing, Mounted as Found porcelain owl Always learningDressed for the opera it would appear, fascinator on her head and fan dangling from one gloved finger. I love her in all of her finery, finely rendered in black ink. Makes me think a bit of Aubrey Beardley's women from the same era. Signed E. Miller (I believe that is an E) and dated Feb. 86 at lower left. 5 1 2" x 3 1 2". Good condition, mounted to backing paper, as found, with a few scattered small stains toning and a bit of glue stain at top left
