While certainly a good effort I was somewhat under-whelmed given the usual standards this wine offers

and mineral on the nose with lemon

The Pingus vines were planted in 1929 in two different sectors of the village of La Horra

Fontaine Gagnard, Chassagne Montrachet Vergers other_regions While certainly a good effort(from Vergers proper). Smoky reduction masks all but hints of cool citrus. More appealing are the rich, delicious and vibrant middle weight flavors that possess very good cut and an equally attractive texture on the compact, more tightly wound and youthfully austere finish. Lovely.
