Signed Oil on Wood Still Life with Fruit, Jug, and Hare bronze seal 5 3/8" across at handleI love the shadow of the right leg of the hanging hare in this painterly still life on wood, signed at lower right, but I haven't been able to trace the signature. I'm not sure I'm ready for a large scale still life with dead game, but like this little one quite a lot, and I like that the head of the hare rests gently on white cloth, framed by lemons on one side and grapes on the other. Sold as found in a frame that looks to be lacquered and painted
