Charmingly Naive 19th C. Roses Watercolor antique rope and wire gauge Made of thick pressed glassI'm a sucker for a very naive watercolor of roses, and think this is quite a sweet one, found in Maine. Third quarter 19th c. I believe, with a partial embossed stamp to the paper at upper left. I especially like the detailing at the very centers of the blooms. A charming and cheering thing. 7 1 2" x 6 1 2" and in good condition, with an irregular lower right edge as evident, and a small stain over the right edge leaf.
