I must say I find this unusual old pair of German cutout wooden figures quite compelling
The pistol (top) shows some detail on one side drawn in black crayon
The mirror on this one is on very good shape and very useful still
from a larger set of plane drawings by one boy with an airplane obsession
Wonderful Old Red Painted Cigar Box Wood Jointed Man intricately carved I must say I findThis guy was surely once attached to a string, performing acrobatic acts, but I love him just as his is now, ready to perch somewhere. Hard to beat the carved profile of his face, but the shapes of his arms, legs and especially those feet are pretty great too, and I love the clunky screws and bolts attaching them to his torso and red paint too. I also always love seeing the old cigar box print on the flip sides. Really a charmer! 5 5 8" t x 1 7 8" w x
