There is one tiny carved bone bit missing from the perimeter of the lid (which fits snugly on top) and perhaps there was once a pull at the very center of that lid
(I might frame it with glass on both sides so not to lose the beauty of that
making one leg decisively longer than the other

And it is just the sort I feel it my duty to liberate and steward. I would guess WW2 era, portraying a sky filled with what I take for fighter planes. I
