that this very beautiful boy is in fact a very young soldier--and I have learned that during WW2 Fred Harvey's Harvey House restaurants re-opened to serve soldiers as they traveled in troop trains across the U

1903 Heart Shaped Love Token Metalsmith's Paperweight with Inset Photo painted folk art animal MA in 1876 as aAmong my very favorite Brimfield finds, I purchased this one from a South Carolina based dealer who has been the source of a number of treasures. I've never seen the likes of it before, a paperweight with photograph embedded perfectly framed by cutout heart inside the larger brass heart. Surely a love token, and surely made by a metalsmith, in 1903, I presume for his sweetheart Carrie (or Earrie? but I'm thinking maybe he just added an extra flourish
