The vineyard grows in shallow brown soil with a calcareous and clay based sub soil. Now on their fourth generation, Gnot Boulanger produces classic wines from 22 hectares scattered from Chambolle Musigny to Mercurey. Organic and biodynamic conversion has been in progress since 2008, producing the most terroir driven wines as possible.
