its surface shows signs of age and wear
made all the better by the combination of dark wood and black bristles flecked with blonde ones
This is a very lovely hand-colored engraving from a 19th century volume on entomology
Many Faces, 1922 Pencil Drawings on Bank Stationary, Bedford Iowa dusting brush It was executed in whatAnother of a few early 1920s drawings by an employee at the Bedford National Bank in Bedford, Iowa, and just a fun one, with several little portraits of "girl" combined with "man", "nut", Woodrow Wilson, Warren Harding, and John J. Perching, WWI U. S. Army General. Signed in cursive at lower right, Charles Martin I believe. Good condition, with little tears at the corners. 8 1 2" x 11".
