There is a slightly chewy edge to the sweet

floral and earthy red berry fruit aromas

This is confirmed by an incredible intensity of colour and extraction (30 days with fermentation and maceration) after five days of cold soak

The nose is quite similar to that of the old vines Gevrey though here it is perhaps ever-so-slightly more elegant as the fruit slides more to the red side of the fruit spectrum
