I know that it is marked "SRG" on its belly but it is obscured by the green patina

Curious Carved Driftwood Angel Mounted to Slate pat nails I've found some other worksDefinitely a curious one, I believe made of a piece of driftwood, in which someone saw a figure and decided to help it along a bit in fully emerging. The face looks to be a knot in the wood, into which two dots for eyes were carved, and then a bit more carving to give detail to an angel with halo, wings, clasped hands, and a "W" for feet at the other end. A small wonder! Either its maker or someone later glued it to a slab of green gray slate; one
