I've been continuing to keep an eye out for old ex voto retablo

I purchased it because I thought it was just a beautiful and curious sculptural object that would look great propped or hanging somewhere

but the ribbon is so old and brittle I am afraid to try it

This one was pretty finely but not fussily done, with the balls rolling around easily in the cage, with nice detailing at the ends (which are not quite flat, so it is best laying horizontally.)
