Not a masterpiece but nicely atmospheric and rather transportive I think--and I really like how precisely

pointing off to the left--but I finally realized it is the handle of a parasol

and really find it deeply satisfying

I really like the combination of floral still life and mountainous landscape together in one painting, and with the couple of fallen floral sprigs nodding to the momento mori aspect of still life painting, too. Not a great masterpiece, but lovely, and a nice one to live with I think, and with a bit of a wistfulness to it that feels just right. 14" x 10 3 4",
