Sunrise over Mountains, Castle on Cliff, Antique Hand-drawn Postcard young friends Mid-19th century or so I'dI believe this postcard is British, early 20th century, and certainly it lends itself to imagining life inside these cliff top castles, perfectly positioned for watching the sun rise from high in a tower! I like the naive manner in which it was done, combining specific attention to the structures and every little window with a painterly wash of blue then orange then pink sky.
