Day Plaid Finish:Plain fringe Our wool pipe cords areThis is the Chieftain's (or Laird's) Plaid of earlier times, made in double width tartan (about 145+ cm) and approx. 3. 5 to 4 meters long depending on your height. Traditionally finished with a purled fringe on each end, we also offer it with a plain fringe as a less expensive option. Due to its size, it would make a lovely throw when not in use as a Plaid!
