On the palate
Good acidity
David Duband, Chambertin Vintage:2014 with some lingering sweetness on(from a . 22 ha parcel). A subtle application of wood easily allows the softly spicy array of game, underbrush and cool red berry scents to shine. There is excellent volume and power to the mineral driven broad shouldered flavors that deliver huge length on the explosive finish that also displays a hint of warmth. This is impressive but perhaps slightly less well balanced than either the Charmes or the Latricires. (91 94) 2029+
