Sweetest Ever, Very Folky Small Sailor Made Macrame Basket with Scalloped Lip lion and goat gouache on paperI do believe this is the sweetest and folkiest little sailor made basket I've ever seen! Feels almost as if made to serve as the loving nest for a bird's egg. Nothing quite regular about it, with some scallops on the scalloped edge scalloping a little higher than others. All the better and more dear in hand, and of course all the better for knowing this was made by a crafty sailor at sea, likely to bring home as a sweetheart gift a total charmer. 2 1
