Thomas Pennant (17261798), naturalist, traveller, and writer was the author of a number of popular travel narratives of Britain, in the eighteenth century. Pennant toured Wales in the 1770s accompanied by the Revd John Lloyd of Caerwys, who provided Welsh translation for him. Original: engraving. 1778
