Lovely Antique Four Drawer "Salesman Sample" Chest sewing kit and I have done aNot my expertise (what is, really?!), but with its clean lines, turned pulls, paneled sides, and gently rounded corners on the top, I think this tabletop chest is really beautiful, and useful for stashing all sorts of little ish things. My guess would be late 19th century, and I assume made as an apprentice piece or salesman sample as chests of this scale usually were.
