as marking them with graphite

each cube measures 1 1/16" square

but the knowledgable dealer I purchased it from classified it as a card case

And what a beautiful group of specimens, as ethereal and radiant as they come, perfectly preserved. With green silk ribbons at the corners joining each card to the next. 14 1 4" l x 4" t fully open; folds up to 4" x 3 1 2". Pretty much pristine condition.
