I believe it dates to the 1940s, and think the design is brilliant, with interlocking wooden pieces that fit together to form a rectangle, with a charming horse at the center of each side, alternating direction from one to the next. Putting it back together once taken apart takes some thought, so pay attention as you do so! 2 1 4" tall and deep, 4 3 8" long. Well
