This one, with the lid held on by one simple nail, I am pretty certain dates to the late 1800s. It still bears some of its original red paint (which reads orange), as well as pencil marks all over! Much of that pencil appears to be scribbles, but I can at least make out "Millie" on one side, "Nicky" on the bottom, and a "Yo" on one short
