I have to think this spotted brown and white one might have been modeled on a someone's favorite pet rabbit

but really don't know any more specifically about it than that

Wonderful Antique Carved Wolf Head Pipe Bowl gift for fisherman and iconic design objectsI take this as a wolf with those exposed teeth, though I suppose it could be an especially ferocious dog! Whatever the case, quite a beautiful pipe bowl I'd say, which looks to have been carved from burl wood to me which gives the wonderful effect of a curly mane. Most definitely it was used, with blackening around and inside the opening of the bowl and a rich patina everyone else. 19th c. I believe and very lovely. 2 3 4 l x 2 t X 1 3 4 w, and nice
