Church-like (and Transcendent) Old Painted Folk Art Box with Ball in Cage Whimsy Topper in Sea Foam Green umbrella I find this handwoven vintageThis is one of my very favorite Brimfield finds; to my eye a perfect thing, including for how the combination of simple box and pointy ball in cage whimsy renders it, in just about the most concise, minimalist manner possible, a piece of tabletop architecture: a church with a steeple. I'm forever on the hunt for old painted whimsies, hard to find and as good as can be here in sea foam green with dark red ball inside but how much better attached to a
