but that seems a little much

I especially like the shape of the knife

Pretty Antique Papier Mache Round Snuff Box with Silver Inlay fun whistle 25” in diameterI've always got an eye out for antique snuff boxes, shoe shaped and otherwise! This pretty one, mid to late 19th century, is lacquered papier mache, I believe intended to resemble tortoiseshell, though with the marbling more reddish than brown. The silver inlay (I'm not certain if sterling) appears almost entirely in tact, with a great combination of little flowers, squares, and fish shapes. (I see one little square missing). Very lovely. Very good
