Antique Horsehair Brush with Turned Wood Handle farm mallet I must say that IAnother gorgeous old brush, with lovely long turned wooden handle and whitish gray soft horsehair bristles. I've seen similarly shaped brushes described both as barber's brushes, but when I purchased this one at an antiques store in New Hampshire was told that with bristles this long it is actually a clothes brush. Either way, it's a beauty and great addition to any collection of beautiful things! 9 1 2" long x 1 3 4" in diameter. at widest. Very good
