Fish in 1874, in the days when drawing such a beautiful map as this would have been school work. At the bottom is a handwritten comment by an instructor affirming Francess' accomplishment: "very nicely and carefully drawn." Indeed! Quite a feat to pack in all these counties and cities and towns and mountains and rivers too. Ink with watercolor
