I find these completely charming in every regard, perhaps best of all the hand painted identifications, here distinguishing the Gambel from the Mountain Partridge. Of course I can't think of a partridge without imaging one in a pear tree but seems much nicer to have two, keeping each other company! Clearly invested with much love and care, and bird knowledge!
