Curious Painted Relief Carved Viking birch bark box as it was meant toI have no idea the story with this guy, but I really like him. He looks like a Viking to me, or at least some sort of Medieval warrior, pretty crudely carved and painted gold, with a blue painted ground, as if emerging from a long journey at sea! He's definitely got some age, as there is a fair amount of wear to the gold paint, which adds to the feeling that he's seen some battle! 6 5 8" x 3 1 2" x 3 8". There are two holes midway down either side
