But mostly I love the illustrations, and the sweet story of a Jacques and Marie escaping to the the beach on a hot July day in Paris. This is a 1937 first edition copy, written by Juliett Macy and illustrated by L. Brooke McNamara, with color illustrated cover and yellow cloth spine. 6" x 5 1 2" and approx 30 pages.
