Wonderful Painted Pine Folk Art House (Tea Caddy?) with Roof Loss sterilized brush 7 7/8" t x 3This wonderful house shaped box has lost the overhang of its roof on the back side and has a small loss on the front side too, but I loved it way way too much to leave it behind. With that roof hinged on the left side and a latch on the other, I believe most likely it was made to function as a tea caddy (there are some very fine 19th c example of tea caddies in the form of houses). Painted the perfect yellow with curtained windows and some greenery
