The sides of the box feature a scroll of what I believe are leaves and vines and other decorative flourishes

It had never occurred to me to search for fake baked goods

Vintage Folk Art Ship in a Haig & Haig Bottle folk art relief carving I have looked and lookedI think it's the approaching summer (and the accompanying fantasies of going sailing) that is drawing me to ships in a bottle of late; this is the second I've found in just a few weeks. I've learned that Haig & Haig whiskey bottles were the choice of many a ship in a bottle makers, due I believe to the voluminous, dimpled or pinched shape. I believe this one dates to the 1940s or so and features a three mast ship with American flag raised at the
