It appears that her neck broke at some point but was carefully glued back in place and now seems stable
16 1/2" t x 7" w x 1 3/16" thick and in good condition
I'm guessing that the leather strip threaded through the cheeks of this old primitively carved figure once formed a loop by which it hung
with general wear to the box and a bit of paint loss

C. 1900. 8 3 8 x 8 3 8 as mounted to gray board. Very good condition.
