Romania, Kingdom. Order Of The Star Of Romania, V Class Knight, Military Division, C.1940 Auction Beginning his service in July(Ordin "Steaua Romaniei"). Instituted in 1877. Type II (1932 1947). In silvered bronze with red, green and blue enamels, gilt cypher of Carol I on the obverse centrepiece, measuring 41 mm (w) x 62. 5 mm (h) inclusive of its crown suspension, tiny chip evident in the blue enamels on the arm at 6 o'clock on the obverse, otherwise the enamels are intact, on a 1932 1938 original ribbon with hook and eye, near extremely fine.
