The buiding has six windows along its length with an entrance gate within a perimeter wall. A weathercock is visible upper left. Three figures are visible outside the school. Inscribed 'GRAMMAR SCHOOL AT GRANTHAM LINCOLNSHIRE'. Inscription verso, in pencil, reads: 'Sir I. N. was educated at Grantham School founded by Bp. Fox'. Original: engraving. 19th century
