Germany, Heer. A Krim Shield, by Wilhelm Deumer Province of China original ribbon with Elasson clasp(Heer Krimschild). Constructed of bronzed zink, the obverse consisting of a shield bearing a raised map of Crimea and southern Ukraine, topped by a Wehrmacht eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, flanked by dates 1941 1942, affixed with all four reverse attachment prongs to a zink backplate with a field grey wool liner and mostly intact black paper backer, the shield measuring 51. 50 mm (w) x 61. 91 mm (h), unmarked but demonstrating the
